📓 Creativ Insights: Quantified Perception Trump vs. Harris
The first ever political opinion study by LLMs. MLB World Series. Peacock's growth. Grammy's move to streaming. Creativ Halloween!
In this special edition of The Creativ Brief, Vibhu Bhan, Co-founder and Chief Operating and Information Officer, writes on our first public machine intelligence study below.Â
We’ve seen an endless stream of conventional polling data, so we sought to establish different perspective - what does the internet have to say on both candidates?Â
The report below uses our unique stack of large language models, ELLAIN, to ingest 360,000 online opinions from 1000 randomly selected content pieces on both candidates.Â
Authored by my team at Creativ Insights, I’m incredibly proud of the results. We were able to objectively measure mass market perception on both Presidential candidates to establish:
A share of voice analysis, who has the bigger media footprint and gets the most attention.Â
Quantified perception on each candidate, the percentage of positive and negative comments directed toward each candidate.
AI cluster analysis of the top positive and negative traits attributed to each candidate

3 Stories Dominating Media and Tech Headlines
The Los Angeles Dodgers clinched the World Series title by defeating the New York Yankees 7-6 in Game 5, securing the series four games to one. After being down 5-0, the Dodgers rallied with a five-run fifth inning and sealed their win with two sacrifice flies in the eighth.
Why it matters: The Dodgers’ second World Series title in five years, featuring superstar Shohei Ohtani’s first championship, made for record viewership TV for FOX sports. This surge demonstrates baseball's capacity to draw major audiences, including abroad like Japan, signaling continued value for networks and advertisers.
Comcast surpassed third-quarter earnings expectations, driven by revenue gains from NBCUniversal’s broadcast of the Paris Summer Olympics and growth in Peacock’s subscriber base. The Olympics contributed significantly to NBCUniversal’s media segment, with 31 million daily viewers, record ad revenue, and a 29% year-over-year rise in Peacock subscribers, though other segments like theme parks saw declines.
Why it matters: This performance underlines how high-profile sports events can boost subscriber counts and ad revenue for streaming platforms, showcasing the value of exclusive content for media giants navigating fluctuating customer bases across traditional cable and broadband. The gains also reflect Peacock’s growing profitability.Â
The Grammys will shift from CBS to ABC, Disney+, and Hulu in a 10-year, $500 million deal starting in 2027, marking a major change for the iconic awards show. CBS, already strained by declining programming rights and lacking the streaming power of competitors like Disney+, faced significant challenges in renewing the Grammys contract, which ultimately went to a partner with broader reach.
Why it matters: This shift underscores a larger trend in the media industry where established broadcast networks are losing high-profile events to streaming-centric platforms that offer global scalability and cross-platform distribution.

Stat of the Week - Harris and Trump Sentiment Distribution Shows Polarization of Electorate
The media and opponents have accused Trump of polarizing the American populace. Our analysis of 360,000 comments directed to the two US Presidential candidates confirms this theory.Â
The majority (57.82%) of internet opinions towards Harris hover around the center in the slightly positive, neutral or slightly negative ranges. Meanwhile opinions directed toward Trump fall mostly into the extremes of very positive and very negative (52.7%), making the Republican nominee the quantifiably more polarizing candidate. Â
The extreme rhetoric has also given Trump an edge in attention, as other parts of our study indicate, he maintains the higher share of voice. Â
